Our hostel is located right in the centre of London, so close to the British Museum that we can hear the mummies snore at night. We are a short walk away from all the main attractions, stations and shopping areas. If you are too poor to afford any of those things, we also have events in the hostel every night, that usually go from free to the ballpark of £5.
We have a small family of residents always at your disposal to help you, entertain you, and sometimes even annoy you. We have free board games, netflix, a playstaion with games, books, not to mention all the tea, coffee and hot chocolate you can drink, available all day long. Getting bored here is extremely difficult.
Our reception is open 24/7, and is staffed by lovely people who know everything there is to know about London. Seriously, feel free to test us! Whatever problem you might have, we will do our best to help you, whether you need advice in how to get somewhere, want to find out the best theatre deals, or just need us to bring you an extra pillow. Our staff is always around and, even if we are off duty, feel free to ask for help or assistance. After all, you are a guest in our home and we want to make you feel as comfortable as possible.
Utilities include hairdryers, washing and drying machine for your clothes, adaptors, padlocks, a snack machine, a computer and printer, and a fully equipped kitchen in which you have everything you need to cook your own meals, along with fridges and cupboards to keep your food. Everything is free, except towels, which are a mere £1 that goes toward organising our fantastic events.
Breakfast is in our spacious kitchen every day from 8am to 10am, and it is £1 that goes straight to charity. We change our charity from time to time, but we will keep you updated about which charity we are donating to at the moment. Breakfast includes white and brown bread, three types of cereal, milk, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, butter, and a wide selection of jams and other delicious spreads. Sometimes we have special breakfasts, which are optional, and cost a bit more (beween £2 and £5), and often include panckakes, smoothies, eggs and bacon on toast.
We also sell tickets to pubcrawls and provide information about a wide variety of events.
In this blog I hope to keep you informed of all our events and novelties, as well as to share with you our amazing memories and our unforgettable guests.
